God creates human beings in his own image. God demonstrates his power when He created everything from nothing. In the image of God, we are created. We are wonderful, because we have the ability to be creative. We also have the ability to distinguish good from evil. We have special skills to study, to learn, to communicate.
God had a purpose for everything and everyone He created. He wants us to be happy and enjoy our world. He made the earth, the nature, all kinds of animals and plants for us. We should respect nature and all animals. We have to respect the habitats where the animals live. If the habitat destruction keeps on continuing, our world will be facing with the dangers such as: pollution, illness, lack of food, and floods.
God has appointed us as His gardeners to care for His world. We are thankful for the gentle eyes of a deer, the friendship of the dogs, the purr of the cats, the strength of bears, the beauty of a hippo, the humour of a chimpanzee, the intelligence of gorillas, the grace of dolphins, the magnificence of whales. We ask God to give us eyes to see our responsibility not just to the human communities, but to the community of all living creature.
